Abacus are looking for a reliable and experienced HGV2 Driver with previous RORO / Skip experiance. This is a fantastic opportunity to join our client in Andover on an ongoing basis, this would lead to a permanent role for the right Driver.
- This is a Monday – Friday based role
- Starting from £16.50ph PAYE & £19.00ph Umbrella company.
- Opportunities for overtime.
The HGV2 role:
Safely operate RORO and Skip vehicles. Deliver and collect skips using Roll-on/Roll-off to and from customer sites. Carry out daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects. Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company policies and road traffic regulations. Provide excellent customer service while representing the company professionally. Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time.
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class C (Category C) licence. Valid RORO (Roll-on/Roll-off) and/or Skip experience preferred. Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph Card. Good knowledge of road safety regulations. Strong communication and customer service skills. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
