We are recruiting for Adhoc Van Drivers to join our team! We work with a number of well established clients in Andover and the surrounding areas. The role involves delivering goods efficiently and safely, ensuring timely service to our clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong driving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working in warehouse environments. This is a paid position suitable for those committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety.
- Starting from £13.30ph PAYE & £15.00ph Umbrella company.
Duties
Conduct regular deliveries using a commercial vehicle, adhering to scheduled routes and delivery times Load and unload goods, often requiring heavy lifting and manual handling Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and in accordance with company policies Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform routine safety checks before each shift Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered Follow all health and safety regulations during operations to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
Previous experience as a Commercial Van driver or in professional driving roles is highly desirable Familiarity with warehouse procedures and handling heavy loads is advantageous Strong communication skills for liaising with clients and team members effectively Experience in logistics or distribution sectors will be considered an asset
