Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join one of our clients in Stockbridge. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient handling of goods within our warehouse environment.
Monday to Friday 8:00am–5:00pm
Duties
- Picking and preparing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Ensuring goods are handled and stored safely within the warehouse.
- Learning and using the company's new warehouse/computer system when introduced.
- Providing driver holiday cover during designated periods of the year.
- Working towards agreed KPIs and maintaining high standards of accuracy and productivity.
Skills
- Forklift licence is preferred but not essential, counterbalance, Reach
- Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar logistics roles
- Strong materials handling skills with knowledge of forklift operation (certification preferred)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and order processing
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during load and unload tasks
- Excellent attention to detail for quality control and accurate order picking
