Abacus Employment Services are currently recruiting for a Sand Moulder Operative on behalf of our client, a well-established metal foundry based in Andover. This is a great opportunity for candidates who are physically fit and enjoy manual labour.
The Role:
As a Sand Moulder, you will be working on a carousel moulding line, producing high-quality sand moulds for aluminium castings. You will be an essential part of the team, helping meet daily production targets and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing and producing sand moulds on a carousel moulding line.
- Manual handling of moulding equipment and materials.
- Working as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures within the foundry.
Requirements:
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual labour.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Strong teamwork and reliability.
- Previous foundry or manufacturing experience is a plus, but not essential.
