Our client based in Frimley are now seeking a new Maintenance Technician to join their busy and friendly Engineering Team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with completion of preventative and breakdown maintenance activities across all areas of the business with the aim of maximising machine availability.

The candidate will also be expected to undertake the following tasks:
- Assist with planned maintenance checks on manufacturing machinery
- Assist with the management of planned maintenance schedules, ensure they are adhered to and keep up to date records of planned maintenance activities.
- Assist in identifying improvements for planned maintenance activities/schedules.
- Assist with machine breakdowns, repair & problem-solving activities.
- Assist with the analysis of breakdown, root causes & proposed remedial actions to address repeating issues.
- Assist with machinery related continuous improvement activities.
Essential:
- Experience of working with manufacturing process equipment
- Computer literate
- Engineering & Mechanical aptitude.
- Good verbal & written communication skills
- Logical thinker, able to identify root cause of problems and look for solutions.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong prioritisation/time management skills.
- Ability to learn new skills quickly and efficiently.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Ability to work under own initiative and as part of a team.
- Willingness to learn & demonstrable aptitude for learning.
- Flexible & committed to task completion.
Desirable:
- An engineering qualification (Apprenticeship, BTEC, HNC/HND, etc.)
A salary of £28,000 - £30,000 for this role.
