Team Manager required for a full-time, permanent position based in Salisbury.

 

The role involved working apart of a Manufacturing and Production role looking after a team and reporting to the Production supervisors.

 

  • Full time and Permanent position
  • 08.00am – 16.00pm on a Monday-Friday basis
  • £10.76 per hour to start, progression to £12.37 per hour.

The ideal candidates will have previously working in a Manufacturing or Industrial production environment in the running of a small team in a team leader or supervisor position.

 

Duties will include but not limited to:

  • Update Production managers with job status.
  • Maintain the company’s quality objectives.
  • Ensure teams compliance with Health & Safety, Environmental and Quality policies & Procedures.
  • Assisting in the development and training of team members.
  • Reporting and liaising with production supervisors .
  • Work toward meeting KPI’s.
  • Assist with the induction of all new team members.
  • Ensure Effective problem solving and root cause analysis.

Van Drivers

We have been given the unique opportunity to supply van drivers on a 3-month contract collection medical samples for surgeries and test sites.

Your main responsibilities will include collection samples for 30-40 locations in and around Hampshire. Any ADR training will be provided during this assignment however should you already hold this then that is an advantage.

  • £9.50 PAYE
  • £10.50 umbrella

 

A minimum of 8 hours work per day and overtime will start after 50 hours completed work.

The working week may be Mon to Sat, 4 on 4 off or 5 on 5 off however full details will be provided.

You may also be required to take the vehicle home with you.

Food Manufacturing – Senior Technical Assistant

We are hiring a Technical Senior Assistant for a well-established family business, producing award-winning and high-quality food.

You will be an enthusiastic, reliable, and a conscientious individual who has a keen eye for detail as well as a strong work ethic.

Shifts – Monday to Friday. 07:30AM to 16:00PM.

Pay – £12.00p/h. After 12 months this increases to £13.00p/h.

Key accountabilities:

Checking production paperwork and updating production records

Supplier & Ingredient support including:

  • Sourcing NPD samples and manage the booking in / checking process.
  • Assisting with the evaluation of new raw materials and new suppliers.
  • Assisting with the purchasing of all raw materials in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
  • Updating existing suppliers’ files and ingredient specifications

 

Production recipe updating and creation as required.

Assistance with projects:

  • Update finished product specification files;
  • Annual shelf life review;
  • Ingredient and Product Shelf Life Extensions;
  • Prepare reports for annual QA topic reviews;

 

Other technical, quality, purchasing and planning projects that arise over time.

Day to day stock control and management

Minute taking and Participation in management meetings (when appropriate), including providing all relevant information regarding production and quality issues for the agenda.

Supervision and Assistance with stock takes.

Ensure Health and Safety guidelines are always maintained inclusive of HACCP.

Target zero customer complaints related to quality issues etc

Ability to communicate at all times to ensure the smooth operation of the department

Food Manufacturing – Production Cook

We are hiring an experienced Production Cook for a well-established family business, producing award-winning and high-quality food.

You will have a genuine passion for combining the very best ingredients to create exceptional recipes and a strong enthusiasm to provide new and innovative ideas.

Shifts – Monday to Friday. 06:00AM to 14:30PM. 42.5hrs per week minimum.

A flexible attitude is key as you will be required to work overtime whilst training and when the business is busy.

Pay – £10.50p/h. After 12 months this increases to £11.00p/h.

Ideal candidate:

This is a general production assistant role with added cook responsibilities. Working with a small-medium sized team, the company encourage everyone to learn wider parts of production e.g., filling, capping, etc. However, the core tasks will be the cooking ones.

 

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisation skills.
  • Physically fit as products are made in large batches which is often heavy.
  • Strong understanding of food and people safety.
  • A good level of maths and writing skills as accuracy is important.
  • Ability to weigh ingredients, follow a recipe and processes. Record information on recipe sheets and conduct testing of pH.
  • Follow policies and procedures and complete start up checks each day.
  • Prepared to carry out cleaning between batches (2-3 times a week) and at the end of the day.

We are working with a well-established client based on the outskirts of Fleet , our client is looking for Production operatives to join their busy team on a full time basis

 

  • Applicants need to have good hand dexterity as position involves filling bottles of hand sanitiser, putting caps on and boxing up for despatch.
  • An understanding and experience of a manufacturing environment would be advantageous, but not essential, as FULL training will be given.
  • You will need to be able to follow instructions accurately, be physically fit and have a willing attitude and be happy with some heavy lifting (Up to a max 25kg)
  • Transport beneficial due to location

Hours of work are 09:00-17:30 Monday to Friday (1/2 lunch)
