Key Account Manager – Harrods

Abacus Employment Services are honoured to be the sole supplier to Harrods Distribution Centre in Thatcham since 2012.

We are looking for an Account Manager to join our successful team and be the main point of contact for this prestigious client.

Your role will involve planning recruitment campaigns, resourcing of suitable applicants, running inductions for new starters, attending regular meetings on site, communicating daily with our temporary work force and the managers of each department within Harrods.

Alongside this, administration and attention to detail is vital. You will be working on our recruitment database, managing rotas and candidate profiles and completing weekly KPI’s. At seasonal peaks, you will also be leading a team of resourcers and administration staff.

Ideally candidates will be from a recruitment background, but an account management and customer service background would also be of interest. If you are confident, personable and friendly then we would love to hear from you.

Food Production Assistant Supervisor

We are looking for a passionate, driven, production assistant supervisor to lead a team producing our premium home baking products. Production is a mixture of semi automated filling ingredients into bags and manual assembly of kits. We’re looking for somebody that takes pride in their work and becomes an important member of the Bakedin family.

Monday – Thursday   6 pm – 12 midnight , £10 per hour

A minimum of 6 months supervisor experience must be held to progress for this role. You will working as a production operative when the supervisor is present but when they are not then you will have responsibility to supervise your colleagues whilst doing production operative tasks.

Core responsibilities

  • Carrying out the manufacturing of baking kits and mixes, taking direction from the Production Manager
  • Maintaining cleanliness of working environment
  • Ensuring products are being made to required speed and quality
  • Leading team of production assistants
  • Thorough record keeping for batch control

Key attributes

  • Organised – essential to producing products on time to meet delivery deadlines
  • Good record keeping – key to maintaining thorough written records in line with our quality manual
  • Attention to detail – quality, accuracy and consistency is key to our products
  • Numerate – ability to calculate required weights of ingredients
  • Impeccable hygiene standards – critical in a food handling environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience leading teams
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, food manufacturing a bonus

Transport Manager

We have a great opportunity for a Transport Manager in Basingstoke.

Paying £30,000 working from 0600 on an 8-10 hour day.

Must be CPC trainer qualified.

Responsibilities

· Ensure that drivers comply with hours, speed limits, overloading laws

· Organise driver training/inductions & assessments

· Overseeing the operations, vehicles and drivers in respect of all legal regulations

· Manage drivers rota’s and shift work and ensure all vehicles are in a safe and legal condition

· Ensure all vehicles are maintained and repairs are carried out to company and legal satisfaction

· Keep vehicles to roadworthy safety standards including scheduling safety inspections, breakdown management

· Health and safety management

Deputy Warehouse Manager

Our client is looking to recruit a Deputy Warehouse Manager to work as part of the Warehouse team working with and reporting directly to the Warehouse Operations Manager.

Duties include the overseeing and co-ordination of daily warehousing activities which include Goods In and Replenishment and Picking of Orders. You will implement productivity, quality and customer service standards and achieve the appropriate level of volume within time limits.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure that daily operations meet and exceed daily performance expectations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

  • Driving Licence required 
  • FLT Experience , Reach/Counter Balance  or Bendi
