About the Role We are seeking a motivated and reliable Junior Powder Coater / Production Operative to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within powder coating and manufacturing, with full training provided.
The successful candidate will support day-to-day operations across the workshop, assisting with preparation, coating processes, and general production duties while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting in the preparation of metal components prior to powder coating, including cleaning, masking, and hanging items Supporting the powder coating process under supervision and gradually developing technical skills Packing finished products safely and efficiently for dispatch Loading and unloading vehicles and deliveries Moving materials and products around the workshop Carrying out basic quality checks to ensure finished items meet company standards Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment Assisting with stock handling and inventory organisation Supporting senior team members with production tasks as required Following all health and safety procedures at all times Operating workshop equipment (training provided) Assisting with routine maintenance and upkeep of tools and machinery
Candidate Requirements
Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks Strong work ethic with a proactive and positive attitude Keen eye for detail and commitment to quality Willingness to learn and develop new skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team Forklift licence or experience (desirable but not essential)
