Weekend HGV1 Driver
Basingstoke
£24.91 Per Hour & £61.15 Shift Bonus On Saturdays & Sundays
Saturday & Sundays - Various Start Times
Some Week Day Shifts Will Be Available As Well
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a HGV1 vehicle to deliver goods to various locations
- Load and unload goods from the vehicle using appropriate equipment
- Plan and follow the most efficient routes for timely deliveries
- Ensure all necessary paperwork, such as delivery notes and invoices, are completed accurately
- Provide excellent customer service by maintaining a professional and friendly demeanor
To qualify for this position, you must have a valid driver's license with the appropriate category for driving aHGV1 vehicle. Previous experience as a delivery driver, preferably with experience driving a flatbed truck, is highly desirable. It is important that you have knowledge of commercial driving regulations and road safety practices. Additionally, you should be comfortable navigating using GPS or other navigation systems and possess strong communication skills to interact with customers and colleagues.bility to navigate using GPS or other navigation systems
