We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced and reliable 7.5T Driver to join their team based in Andover. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service and working within a fast-paced environment.
As a 7.5T Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of building materials to a well-established customer base. You will follow a structured delivery schedule, ensuring efficiency while maintaining high standards of service. This role is physically demanding and will also involve supporting warehouse operations when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver building supplies to customers in a safe and timely manner
- Follow pre-planned delivery routes and schedules
- Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and ensure compliance with safety regulations
- Assist with warehouse duties when required
- Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently
Requirements
- Minimum 12 months’ driving experience (preferred)
- Full UK driving licence up to 7.5T
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Experience completing multiple drops and long distance driving
- Strong navigation skills, including use of Sat Nav and map reading
- Good level of physical fitness due to the nature of the role
- Eligibility to work in the UK
