Job Title: Litter Picker / Site Operative

Job Type: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Working Hours: 07:30 – 16:30 (with two 30-minute breaks)
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Litter Picker / Site Operative to join a busy composting facility. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and is comfortable in a hands-on environment.
The successful candidate will play an important role in maintaining site cleanliness by removing litter from composting areas and assisting with general site duties when required.
Key Responsibilities
- Litter picking between windrows and around compost piles
- Maintaining cleanliness across the site
- Supporting additional site tasks when required
- Working safely and following site procedures at all times
Working Conditions
This is an outdoor role, and candidates must be comfortable working in all weather conditions.
Requirements
- Ability to work in an outdoor, physically active role
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
- Must be able to attend a 4–6 hour site induction/training session before starting
- Own transport is preferred due to the site location (limited public transport access)
Schedule
- Monday to Friday
- 07:30 – 16:30
- Two 30-minute breaks per day
