Abacus Employment Services are looking for a Quality Assurance to work in a bakery based in Andover.
As a Quality Assurance, you will play a key role in ensuring our products meet the highest standards of safety, quality, and consistency. Working alongside production team during their PM shift, you will help maintain compliance with industry regulations and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and enforce food safety and quality standards
- Conduct routine checks, audits, and inspections
- Investigate and report any quality issues or non-conformances
- Maintain accurate QA documentation and records
- Support training and coaching of staff on quality procedures
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a QA role within food manufacturing
- Food knowledge of food safety standards
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- A proactive approach to problem-solving
- Flexibility to work the afternoon shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM)
