Abacus Employment are looking for Class 1 (C+E) HGV 1 drivers for ongoing positions working for a well-known supermarket brand.
Drivers will be required to deliver caged stock to 3/4 stores across the south of east and west of England.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner while maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
Hours:
- Currently we have roles on Day and Night shift patterns
- Days between 04.00 – 16.00
- Nights between 16.00 – 04.00
- Guaranteed 8 hours per shift
- Weekend shifts available
Salary (PAYE):
- Monday – Friday - Days - £18.54 per hour Nights - £19.52 per hour
- Saturday days and nights - £19.55 per hour
- Sunday and Bank holidays days and nights - £20.55 per hour
- Overtime paid after 48 hours per week
What are the Requirements?
- A current and valid HGV1,
- full CPC and Digi Tacho
- Minimum 2 years Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driving experience
- Maximum 6 points on licence
