Class 1 (C+E) HGV 1 drivers required for an ongoing position based in Amesbury delivering caged stock to 1 or 2 stores across the south of England.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate HGV vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations and company policies.
- Deliver goods to designated locations in a timely manner while maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Perform vehicle inspections to ensure safety and functionality.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential issues.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle, ensuring it is in good working condition at all times.
Hours:
- Currently we have roles on Day and Night shift patterns
- On-going drivers on a 5 on 3 off or 4 on 4 off rota
- Day shift starts from 04.00
- Nights starts from 16.00
Salary:
- Day Shift - £200.00 - £230.00 per day
- Night shift - £225.00 - £260.00 per day
What are the Requirements?
- A current and valid HGV1,
- full CPC and Digi Tacho
- 1 year Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driving experience
- Maximum 6 points on licence
