Abacus Employment Services are looking for Ground Maintenance operatives to help with general landscaping to join an established, commercial landscaping company, based in Hermitage.
This is an ongoing role and permanent job opportunities available for the successful candidate.
The ideal applicants will have either General Grounds Maintenance or Landscaping experience.
CSCS card is required.
Due to the location of work the ideal candidate will have their own transport.
Duties & Responsibilities of the role include but not limited to:
- Hard landscaping
- Diggin and prep work
- Turfing
- Grass cutting
- Hedge cutting / Shrub maintenance
- Leaf clearing
- Assisting team and supervisors
- Communication with clients and customers
- Operating mowers, small machinery, hedge cutters, strimmer’s and blowers
- Adhering to company standards such as risk assessments and COSHH
- Timely and accurate reporting of near misses, accidents, and incidents
- Responsibility for keeping machinery and equipment in good working condition and
reporting faults
Monday – Friday
0700-1600 – 1 hour for lunch (30 minutes unpaid)
