Abacus Employment Services are recruiting for a Office Administrator for our client based in Newbury
As a result of continuous business growth, they are looking to expand the team and recruit an experienced Office Administrator to assist the Office Manager with day to day duties
Main Duties include the following:
- Updating and recording holiday requisitions
- Entering Weekly Agency Timesheets
- Raising Purchase Orders for various departments
- Monitoring Stock Room levels
- Handle telephone and e-mail queries
- Assist with daily office operations as required
- Maintain an up-to-date filing system
Skills:
- MS Office Suite: Primarily Excel, Word and Outlook.
- Displaying effective communication both orally and in writing, while possessing an excellent telephone manner.
- Must have the ability to multitask, working on your own initiative with minimal supervision and having a conscientious and thorough approach to work.
- Ability to successfully prioritise, manage time and resources, displaying effective organisational skills.
- Have a flexible approach to work and display a willingness to undertake varied responsibilities, working alone or as part of a team.
- Punctual, polite, professional, and courteous towards customers.
Qualifications:
- GCSE Maths and English minimum
Experience:
- 2-year minimum experience in an office environment
- Experience within an account’s office an advantage
Job Type: Full-time – 42.5 hrs per week 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday (0.5 hour for lunch)
Salary: £25,282 to £26,520 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
