End of free movement for those that are not resident.
Must have settled status after 30th June 2021.
If your contractors are an EU, EEA or Swiss citizen, them and their family can apply to the EU Settlement Scheme to continue living and working in the UK
after 30 June 2021.
The EU Settlement Scheme is open.
They can apply now if they meet the criteria.
The deadline for applying is 30 June 2021.
You must have started living in the UK by 31 December 2020.
Which status they get may depend on when they apply.

Points based system via Intra-company visa;
An Intra-company visa allows you to come to or stay in the UK to do an eligible job at your employer’s UK branch.
· Must have worked for the company overseas for 12 months at least unless salary will be more than £73.9k when working in the UK.
· Company must have a visa license

Short term visits;
EU, EEA and Swiss citizens and other non-visa nationals can continue to visit the UK for up to 6 months without applying for a visa and may participate in a wide range of activities, including tourism, visiting family and friends, short term study and business-related activities, such as events and conferences, to do audit activity, maintenance work , installation work. |

Abolition of Polish Tax Relief
This previously allowed polish to not pay tax on working in the UK in Poland.
· This is likely to have a negative effect on seasonal workers |

Right To Work
You will need to continue checking a candidate’s right to work in the same way as now until 30th June 2021.
· Checks after June 2021 can be done online.
You have a duty not to discriminate against EU, EEA or Swiss citizens. You cannot require them to show you their status under the EU Settlement Scheme until after 30 June 2021. |
