Test Assembly Operator
Based in the Slough
We are looking for a Test & Assembly Operator to work within our manufacturing department. Duties will include the mechanical assembly and electrical wiring of our standard and customised control panels/power supplies as well as the mechanical assembly & pressure test of our UV disinfection chambers. You should be capable of working from simple assembly drawings, wiring schedules and procedures to produce a top quality result with minimal supervision.
The role will also include working in the test department where duties will include test & inspection of combined control and power supply cabinets against specification and the completion of associated documentation. The equipment ranges from 8W to 45kW in terms of lamp power and control systems vary from simple relay logic through to full blown microprocessor and plc controlled systems.
Committed to meeting customer expectations, the role requires a flexible attitude and approach as you will be working in several areas in the Operations team. You must also be prepared to work overtime from time to time.
Ideally qualified to a minimum of ONC, BTEC Certificate in Electrical Engineering the successful candidate will be computer literate and able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail, a meticulous approach and be able to work without close supervision to agreed production.
Full product familiarisation and training will be given.
